La Porta Soccer Academy began over a decade ago serving communities as a private lessons entity. Coach Vinny was, frankly, disgusted by what competitive club soccer was doing to the kids involved. Coach Vinny worked full time providing private lessons specifically aimed to inspire passion and build confidence through fun and energetic technical skills games. LSA sessions became a place for healing as much as they were a place for soccer education. The results were immediate and fantastic, giving coach Vinny the confidence to continue on with his vision. Coach Vinny has had students in MD, CA, MA, FL, and HI, and currently trains players in the Seattle area. Calcio Clinics & Camps
LSA Calcio clinics deliver advanced training concepts in a competitive and developmental atmosphere. These clinics are not for every player, just those who strive for greatness in their soccer IQs and aim to play collegiate or professional soccer. Coach Vinny believes camps that brush over multiple aspects of the game over a week creates ineffective development of the more talented players. Calcio Clinics take one advanced concept of the game, and deliver it in a customized curriculum that builds specific technical abilities first, then uses those techniques to fuel the tactical education. Previous clinics offered on 'Speed of Play' and 'Creating and Scoring Goals' were successful and fun! LSA Curriculum
A Phase I warm-up exercise developing the concept of playing between the lines
LSA curriculum combines professionally derived-technical skills training with sports psychology theories in order to maximize the potential for all students involved. Training concepts are scripted and build into repeatable sessions that build from small technical games to big full sided match play. Coach Vinny has a scientific approach to his curriculum development and presents sessions clearly and professional to all coaches under his direction at Partner organizations, as well as any coaches worldwide that are Members here at La Porta Soccer Academy online.
